IOS messages, texts not being recieved on edge 520 plus

Hello, ive purchased a EDGE 520 plus, i cannot recieve iMessages, or other notifications. upon the adivse i have checked my iphone 7 and all is ok. can anyone adivse me of what i need to do next? Thank you

Go on Garmin Support, they have a detailed article on how to setup. There are settings in iOS, settings in the Garmin Connect Mobile app (which MUST run), and there are settings in the Edge itself.

Hi Martin, thank you, im struggling locating a widget meantioned in the support guide. ive downloaded the IQ app to get the widget but dont know what to use. Thanks Sarah

You should not need to install a Widget. I don; t have a 520 but a 1030 so not sure about your device. On the 1030 the widget is part of the system and is already there. To access it we swipe-down the top of the screen and the widgets are there. On the 520 with no touch I think you hold the top-right button to get that, not sure. Your manual should say how to get the widgets, there are several pre-installed ones.
