Hi,

I have only used the Garmin Edge 1030 a few times. So far every ride it prompts me to do a "u turn" even though I am on the correct route, does not give turn by turn navigation. The only way I can get the navigation back is to restart the route. Today I had to restart it 3 times. The jury is out on this device.

Turn by turn will only work if you have a routable map installed. In addition, the precise function is enabled in the Navigation menu. This navigation also works during a course. Even in courses you also need to activate the sharp turn warning
