Navigation takes a enormous detour

Since a few rides my Garmin does not navigate properly anymore, e.g. I load a 150km ride through Garmin connect, it looks ok. When I start navigation the gamin Edge seems to be confused. It loads the ride, but it thinks the ride is > 5800 km and keeps complaining about the length of the ride. Navigation becomes totally useless.

The information supplied doesn't give folks here much to work with.

Can you share the course, the active map as used on the device (default or custom), which site you create the course from and which base map it used?

I've had that happen on previous Edge models, but not on my 1030.

Try stopping your route and restarting it.
