Garmin 1030, maps not visible.

Garmin 1030, mapping. when following a course that was loaded as an .fit file all I can see is a single blue line and no other map data. This has only just started happening. Any ideas what is wrong?

In the settings you can choose which maps should be visible.

Maybe no maps choosen ?

I resolved the problem. It was all down to the version of garmin Express I was using to download the latest maps. I wasn't using the latest rev. Once updated to latest rev maps downloaded correctly and all is now ok.

I resolved the problem by first updating the Garmin Express software on my Mac and then reinstalling the map through Garmin Express.

Finally I can ride frustration free.

Amazing that Garmin do not prompt you when a new version of Garmin Express is available...
