My Garmin Edge 1030 keeps dropping the signal when connected to my TACX NEO 2 trainer! Anyone can help me? I have the TACX app connected via bluetooth with my smart trainer and the Edge 1030 via ANT+ with the smart trainer.

Firmware update v0.34 is available for download

Thanks for the information I'll check for the update later. Have you seen any release notes to see what's been fixed?
They fixed only the cadence sensor that stopped working after the update.. nothing related to other sensors.
I can't find information about firmware fixes
But I tried 20 minutes of training, he only dropped 2 times, better than before
I will try to roll back the firmware to see if it is more stable
I was hopeful that 0.34 would fix the issues between my Neo2T & Edge 1030 but given the change log I wasn't getting excited. Tonight's test ride with 0.34 was a pretty dismal affair. In fact I'd go so far as to suggest it's worse than with 0.32 of the Neo2T f/w
Given that I don't get any dropouts on my Edge 800, Fenix 6 or Tacx App I'm pretty convinced the issue is with the Edge 1030 F/W not the trainer itself
I've posted on the Neo2T forum, but reaching out to other users that are also seeing dropouts on their Edge's with Neo Trainers to try & gather a bit more evidence to prove/disprove my initial findings
If you have not already, I recommend you watch GPLama's video on Wifi Channels. (See my post above or link below) It is also worth noting that one's neighbours wifi might be interfering with your ANT+ signals too. I suggest you bring some cookies as a nicety and then humbly request that they change their 2,4Ghz wifi channel to 1, 2 or 3.

My experience with the Edge 830 and the Tacx bushido is that the issue is the the 530 unit. If I run the Tacx App and turn off the 530 unit altogether, or disable the trainer "sensor", then I can ride for hours without a dropout. For the last year or so I have been running with them together, and only occasionally had drop outs of trainer control. In the last month or so, its within minutes of starting and its catastrophic to running the Tacx app.
Would be really nice to log power data along with other sensor data, and be able to ride through France or Italy courtesy of the Tacx App movies .........
