Edge 1030 Wrong clock

Hi!

After updating 1030 to 9.1 the clock is 3h wrong.

Reset the device and continues wrong.

I'm in UTC -3 and device is showing time as UTC -6.

How can I solve that?

Turn on your Edge, expose it to the sky and wait for a sat-fix.

mcinner1 is right I think, the Edge will get time and time zone from GPS data. You really need to let the unit get a good fix. Start a dummy ride and wait long enough for the cursor (blue triangle) to be position without the ?. If the unit is in a new location it can take several minutes to get a gps fix.

Hi, did it work at the end? Have you fixed it? I have the same problem with my 1030. So frustrating... I didn't take it out long enough yet, might try tomorrow...

I can't solve.

Tried GPS fix after reset for a long time (more than 1 hour in a clear sky location).

I'm using with wrong time.

In Strava or Garmin Connect uploads the time is correct, just the display time in the unit is wrong.

You should install the newest beta-firmware

not for me it's 7days and 3h late!! so everything goes back, the worst is with the training peaks, it shows the wrong workout and then downloads the workout onto the wrong day... strava too, garmin connect wrong too... i reset it all... so annoying!!!

thanks i have seen that one and downloaded to the computer but don't know how to transfer it to my garmin, actually don't have a program to open the file.... im so useless for this...
