Feature request: Get last known position of paired mobile phone (on the garmin device itself)

Recently I managed to drop my phone somewhere on the trail, and noticed it later. In the connect app, you can display the last known position of your garmin device, if it gets lost, but not the other way round. It would be nice to have such feature in the garmin device.
I was very happy to locate the phone since I activated live tracking (sent via e-mail to my wife), but I needed help from fellow riders to get the information from my wife.

I remember seeing a mention recently (possibly by Aweatherall) that Garmin were going to start using phone GPS to get a quicker fix on an edge at the start of a ride. This could potentially be linked to that I suppose.

I don't see any common tasks with those two topics.
A very simple way to implement my requested feature would be to create/overwrite a custom waypoint named like "My phone" or similar, everytime the bluetooth connection between the garmin device and the phone is lost.

I think this is would be a far more useful function than tracking the location of my Edge. I have my 1030 on the bars, so if it falls off, I would know about it almost immediately.

Sure, you'd know that it fell off without the feature. That's not the purpose of it.

Finding it where ever it ends-up flying/rolling to is the problem this is addressing.

This makes your Garmin emit a chirp if it loses contact with the phone.

(Autostop can't be used with it.)
