Does anyone know how to turn off the new Record consumption feature?

Hi, does anyone know how to turn off the new record consumption feature Garmin added in 8.0? Whoever thought up this gem needs to learn about UI design. There should be a X feature to cancel the item to allow you to say No to both questions. If you do a ride and consume nothing, depending on the ride you have to zero out each value. And if you do rides where both are going to be zero a lot, you have to cycle through both just to proceed correctly. Come on folks, this is a no brainer! Duh!

Not sure how I did it but it only works for mountain bike for me. Not for road bike.

Hello,

If you speak about not asking about nutrition/hydration at the end of the training, I did it in the Garmin Edge changing the following parameter.

Profile -> Warnings -> Nutrition/Hydration -> enable/disable

Thanks for the tip. Only problem is I don't see that path on my Garmin Edge (hence one of the reasons for asking). I tried Activity Profiles and did not see it in there and don't see the Profile > path anywhere else. I am using 8.0 at the moment.

I'm on firmware 8 and I have the option to turn off tracking on the profile page. It's under Nutrition/hydration.

Thanks for clarification. Found it under this path:

Activity Profiles > (your bike profile) > Nutrition/Hydration > Track Consumption

Funny. I have it turned on in all the profiles. The latest update enabled it but default. But here is the catch. I only got asked for my single Mountain bike profile. It was a 2-1/2 hour ride.

It is only activated for rides over 90 minutes.
