I have aging eyes too. I wear bifocal contacts while riding, and neither prescription is full strength for me. I want the larger screen of the 1030.
Try calling instead of emailing
I'm already working with a specific product support person via email. Calling isn't going to be better in my case.
No, latest production unit, BNIB. Exactly what I was promised a year ago.
Could you please share some photos of the halo here? I have the same TCS version as yours and I think I have it too. I am not sure if this is going to get any worse, but it's noticeable.
This is a well known hardware issue. If you reach out to Garmin and ask for a replacement unit with the fixed screen they should be able to help you. They have replaced mine no problem.
So now they are charging for replacements:???
