gps after 8.0

GPS on all his functions (alone, Glonass or Galileo ) still working erratic and keep loosing signal. I do have two units and issue in not related to the are where I train as I change places very often and another GPS un it I have works properly.

What I notice since 7.87 beta , is that GPS signal is very poor when I enter in tunnels, in next second I have "Lost Satellite" , its like tunnel detection

One friend of mine with Wahoo Bolt did not had any issues

GPS cannot work in tunnels. It is a high frequency radio signal and woks line of sight only. The Bolt probably just doesn’t report loss of signal until it is gone for longer than the 1030 does before it reports the problem.

Yes I know that does not work in tunnels , but signal lost was almost instant

Tunnel or not tunnel the GPS system on the 1030 it’s a shame! It’s on the market for two years now and it never stabilized. Let’s don’t talk about the BT connection with smart phones or the mass storage issue once connected with Laptop etc etc . Very frustrating...
