Additional fields on the map page after update to 8.0

Hey,

after the update to version 8.0, additional fields can no longer be configured on the map page.

As soon as you try to do this, the screen freezes and you have to shut down the device.

Has any of you already had this experience?

Hello everyone

the problem is solved:

I updated the Garmin Cycle Map to version 2019.10

After this update, I can configure data fields on the map again.

I played around with it. I'm not seeing any issue.

Works OK for me. I configured two fields on the map screen for a profile I created yesterday on my 1030 running 8.0. FWIW, I have the Garmin maps disabled, apart from the world basemap. I've installed the maps from Velomap.

If there's an issue like this, it's very unlikely related to the map.

That's the version of maps I was using. There was something funny going on with your unit.

It only seems that the screen freezes. In reality there is a nearly unvisible turning arrow left bottom which leads back after setting the field(s).

It has nothing to do with maps! I for example use OpenMTB.
