Edge Explore 1000 can't Access saved Ride

After long ride I saved it but then the Edge frooze and had to rstart it. I can see the ride on the history screen, but I can't view it or upload it to Garmin Connect. I tried uploading from Computer to Garmin, but comes back with - We don't support the file type you tried to import. Any suggests to try and to recover the ride?

  • Are you certain you have a BlueTooth connection between the 1000 and the smartphone that has Connect Mobile ?.  A re-boot might not make an automatic connection as well BT is a really weak area for Garmin currently and I find myself needing to do a manual connection the phone BT section in order to get things to sync.

    Thanks for the help. it is not the connection but the atual file, I can't access it on the Edge. I can see it, in the history but when I click on it, it does not bring up the details of the ride or opens in Garmin Connect etc.
