  • Hello

I'm a little confused with the climbpro slope function of the GPS.

I understand that only slopes of more than 500m with a result of more than 3500 in the formula percentage X size of the bump were eligible for the climb pro function ... and this for the routes recorded in advance. ..

already I wonder why not display the bumps that we would have chosen and not the ones which "score" 3500 and more?

Besides, I understood that we could even display the bumps and the position in the climb and the percentage from where we are, but how?

    I am really lost.

thank you for your help and tutorial on the "slopes" functions of the GPS (I have an EDGE 1030 plus and my routes comes from Komoot.

  • I got rid of climb pro after a recent ride, On a rolling ride it kept going for three climbs, and as its based on the gradient it shows what you were doing. So you have changed up 3/4 times as you were going down hill, and it chirps climb complete.

this also applies to gradient changes, not a surprise as Gradient worked that way when I tried it, So why they invest on extending poor functionality bemuses me.

I would rather know what the sensors are telling me, than its a steep hill.
