I'll admit I don't pay enough/any attention to update (firmware) notes or release numbers, but just commit the updates as they arrive to be installed, so I can't say which updates I'm talking about specifically or what they were supposed to "fix".
It's never been perfect, but I've by-and-large enjoyed my 1030 despite its occasional, annoying foibles: I mean the screen is clearly becoming a lattice-work problem and the the touch screen can be infuriating, and It's never fun having a corrupted file.... BUT, I never had any problems with battery life before the last couple updates - it's now suddenly noticeably worse - and I never had the unit randomly switch off during a ride before - 3 times in a couple months - or have the spikes in gradient I'm randomly getting now; I'm pretty sure that 150% hills don't exist! Also, my previously-100%-working Wifi/ Bluetooth connection with my phone now will not connect for any reason. Or will (apparently) and won't communicate any data.... Super frustrating.
Why does every update have to break something that worked fine? Is that policy?
