Never had this problem with my "old EDGE1000".
No I am using a EGDE1030, and i have power&cadans drops while i am riding.
the drops are mostly 10 sec ore less.
Have anyone a solution for this?
Using the latest Updates from 4iiii and garmin.

That will not work. If the power meter is sending cadence as part of the data needed to compute power the Edge will only use the cadence provided by the power meter.
Darn - ok.... well I have a return authorization and am sending my Podiiiium back in about two weeks after my next gravel race. I HOPE they figured this out and can fix it. Because Stages doesn't make a PM for my Praxis crank.
Let us know if this gets fixed with the replaced/new unit. So far it sounds like in this thread that 4iiii is not actually fixing the issue.
Got a reply from 4iiii. Said Garmin admits it is an antenna issue with the 1030 and are working on it. But it also happens with my Fenix 5XPlus watch worn on my left wrist (same side).
I'm not aware of any antenna issues on the 1030. That sounds like a bogus answer as that would impact other sensors as well.
DaveBrillhart - I sent you an email to gather some additional information on this.
Thanks! got it and will reply tonight with a couple quick questions to help me be more useful in what I send back.
Ok I just did a test for Garmin. Turned on ANT diagnostics. Rode concurrently with both my Edge 1030 and Fenix 5xPlus. In a 7 mile ride with ZERO coasting I saw 7 different cadence and power dropouts on both the Edge and Fenix. Sending FIT files to Garmin.
Keep us in the loop what you find out from Garmin. I'm very interested in this as I have had dropouts for 1.5 years and figured it was just something I had to live with.
