yesterday i did a FTP Test (the Garmin one) outdoor with Edge 1030 & Vector 3 (all latest firmware), as it was very hot and the route was not totally optimal i couldn't hold the power target from the FTP Test, no problem, but it couldn't be, that the test fails when my result is worse and FTP decrease, seems the FTP Test is only working when the result increase.
Anyway, it's impossible to do a FTP Test very often, but when you do it, it have to work, all other FTP Test on Zwift or Tacx are working, only the Garmin one not, it's not the first time, i read this problem very often in the past in us and german Garmin Forums!
The other thing, i calculated my FTP manually with my activity imported in Training Peaks, then i entered the new value in Connect Web, syncronised Edge & Fenix with Express, but the devices aren't updated, thats again a problem still happens very often, why the *** is Garmin not able to correct this problem, this are really totally stupid problems and of course DC Rainmakers Post about Garmin is more then correct!
the only way to update the new values and zones on the device, enter the values on the device himself and not in the User profile of Garmin Connect or Mobile App!
Same for the Lactate Threshold HR, i have different ones (cycling & running), but the devices aren't updating, anyway there is a Lactate Threshold HR for cycling and running, but in Android App there is something not correct, Garmin is mixing the values randomly!
it could not be, that devices that costs a lot, didn't do that what Garmin tell us, when they offer them to the market!
