WILL THE GARMIN EDGE 1030 GET MTB DYNAMICS?

Can you confirm whether the 1030 will receive all the mtb dynamics features like grit / flow / airtime etc, excluding TrailForks because of licensing issues.

I am trying to decide whether to buy the 830 or the 1030 but I am guessing it would be better to get the 830 which should have newer hardware / processor etc

Read the 830 review from DC Rainmaker, this is all explained in there. To my knowledge pretty much everything will be ported to the 1030 except Trailforks specific functions.

Any idea when we can expext the first functiones merged from 830 to 1030?

No idea. But the sensible thing for them to do is fix the issues on the small user base (Because it is new) of the 830 before porting to the bigger user base of the 1030.
