Trailforks not coming to 1030 as per the new units

Why is the 1030 not getting the full functions of trailforks like the 830 and 530?

See something about licences anyone explain please

Simple. You already bought it. Why would they spend a cent trying to make a customer happy who purchased their top end computer. Lets add features to a low end computer to get customers.

And yet they've added lots of features to the 1030 and, apparently, will continue to do so.

They're clearly investing in R&D for the 1030.

As to why Trailforks isn't going to be available on it ... there's clearly a business reason. Garmin product managers are the only ones who can share that reason.

I'm not a mtn bike rider, so Trailforks isn't important to me. I'm very interested in seeing some of the other features that came on the 530 & 830 rolled out to the 1030.

Adding features that do not work and adding features when previous features have never worked. For years the 1030 has not worked with android phones. Incident detection pointless. Tracking almost never works. Great features.
