Never mind I see others have asked the same question in other areas, and there seems to be a feeling that in time the edge 1000 forum information will be migrated.
Doesn't excuse the fact that many of us non edge 1030 users, still have the previous 'top of the line' computer. So why not migrate immediately!
It will not be migrated. At least if the past is any indication. As Garmin moves new products in, they shut down the old forums and prevent access. That's the way its happened over the last decade or so.
Why does Garmin do this? These forums cost them almost nothing except bandwidth. They don't staff the forums for the most part. Looks like a marketing ploy to push consumers to their new stuff, nothing more.
