Beta 7.41 & Radar Tones

OK. This is nice that you have added an option to choose the radar tone on the Edge 1030.

BUT Why is one of the options NOT the original tone as it was ? I can understand that you changed the tones for people who have trouble hearing but for some of us, the ORIGINAL tones were just fine. Can you make one of the options the original tones Please ???

And what precisely are you reminding me of ? It is a Edge 1030 Forum. yes it is Beta but Garmin seems to have an instinct to change features without thinking things through. And personally, as someone who started writing software in 1980, I find it frightening the logic that takes place in the firmware development of the cycling GPS units. New units have bugs that were fixed in old units, time after time. I apologize for being a bit sarcastic but common sense seems have been a bit lost here.

I would rather have the radar tone into my wireless earbuds! that would be nice

I agree with using a single bluetooth earbud. I can't hear the old tone or the new tone. The earbud is the only workable solution for us older riders with diminished hearing.
