Enhancement request: Please bring back the Bike Profile feature to modern bike computers

Enhancement request:

Please bring back the old Edge 810 bike profile feature to the current Edge models. I really liked that feature.

I'd like to be able to associate specific sensors to bike profiles so the screen can automatically adapt to the bike I'm riding.

For instance: my road bike has a power meter, so I would like power related fields displayed. My gravel bike doesn't have a power meter, so the power fields aren't important.

also wished Garmin kept the sensors linked to the Bike Profile instead of a sensor pool

you could create bike profiles and setup different screens, when using a bike only the appropriate sensors are connected

one rides with the bike not with the sensors

I think this is why different ride profiles exist. Eg, I use my 1030 with an outdoor ride profile, and an indoor ride profile (different bike, power meters, controllable trainer etc) when Zwifting.

well bike profiles=activity profiles so they are still there only difference is that sensors isnt linked to the profile but the device just use the sensors that is active at the time nomatter which profile you use
for me i have a Gravel,A giant defy,A orbea aero and a giant tri bike profile setup
