Temperature display at the top of the screen

My wife and I both use an Edge 1030. On the opening screen, I have the temperature displayed on right side of the screen beside the actual time. My wife has not the temperature showing. Where are the settings to activate the temperature display or any other?

You're right... I was able to display the temperature by closing the Wi-fi or the phone in my wife's Edge. There's another menu Garmin should add somewhere: the choice of which small icons to display at…

Showing the temp might be connected to how many icons are at the top of the screen. I noticed that if I turn off Wifi, the temp will show. With Wifi on, it does not show.
