Edge 1030 always says 0 Anaerobic TE while Fenix 5s+ says 2.9 TE(example) why?

Hello, I have been doing lots of training getting into Zone 6. I started noticing that my 1030 always says Anaerobic TE is 0, but my Fenix 5s+ will frequently say it is over 2 for Anaerobic TE. Today it happened again. I had 3 minutes and 30 seconds of Zone 6. It was not all at once, but mostly 1 minute or 30 second sprints. I think it was 17 of them scattered across my workout. When I finished I figured my 1030 would finally give me some Anaerobic TE time but it still said 0. I don’t care how hard I push myself it always says 0. Why is that? Do I have a setting turned off somewhere? I would normally think, well I’m doing the intervals wrong in some way, but I track it on my Fenix 5s+ and that one always gives me Anaerobic TE reading if i train like this. So I’m doing the intervals correctly I’m pretty sure.

What am I missing?

I'm not certain how to attach a fit file, but here are the links to yesterdays workout. I made it viewable to everyone. Hope this works.

The V02 was not updating via Physio TrueUp for a day or so, but just before this ride it did finally sync up and they both read the same. Then after the ride, both devices updated to a new V02. But the readings of the Anaerobic Benefit were still off. Edge was .7 Anaerobic Benefit and the Fenix 5s+ was 2.7 Anaerobic Benefit.

  • What I noticed is the the Fenix has a lower HR setting for what I assume is your resting heart rate value.

    minimal_hr 55 bpm
    minimal_hr 60 bpm

The HR zones also don't match for Zone 1

    hr_zone_high_boundary 31|124|138|146|155|170
    hr_zone_high_boundary 54|124|138|146|155|170

There is a small difference in user weight, which I'm guessing is a difference in the way values are rounded on the 2 units.

    weight 72 kg
    weight 71 kg
