Since upgrading to version 7.30 I can no longer transfer waypoints successfully to my edge 1030 using BaseCamp version 4.83
When I try, here is what happens
My Garmin Edge 1030 will not boot successfully
When I turn the power on I get
1) The Garmin Logo
2) The welcome screen which shows my battery status (100%)
3) The I see Edge 1030 Version 7.30 Copyright 2017
3) Then I see "Loading courses, workouts and locations..."
4) Then the unit powers off
5) Then I see the Garmin logo again
6) Then the unit powers off
The only way to recover the Edge is to manually boot the Edge into Mass Storage mode via USB cable holding the lap button (thank you aweatherall) and removing the offending "New Files" and then rebooting the unit
I have not changed the process of downloading waypoints from Garmin Basecamp. My question is how to transfer waypoints to the Edge?
Enclosed is the Waypoints.FIT file generated from BaseCamp that bricks the Edge 1030
