New 530/830 features

Hi,
when we can expect the new features, available on 530/830, to be released for 1030?

Since they are software features I can't imaging the 1030 won't get them.

yes, have the same question. But on the other hand I know that for instance the temperature sensor is available in the Edge explorer (based on 1030) but it is removed out of the software.... I realy like the hight map in the new Edge 830 so hope that I can get this also in 1030 and 820 :)

I’m hoping we get the Trailforks Basemap, that would be amazing. Right now I have courses set to always display on my map for local trails, being able to travel and see the trails automatically would be amazing if they can sort out licensing, I would pay to add that to my 1030

Have you tried https://www.trailforks.com/blog/view/traiforks-now-available-on-garmin-edge-devices/ ? Probably it is not so nice integrated, but it might work...

I have already written that you will not use Trailforks if you do not load all routes before you drive. IQ does not work during the activity ):

The review states Trailforks is the one feature that will *NOT* make it to the 1030 for licensing reasons.
I just purchased my first Trailforks basemap for my state. $15 per state. Now I see the 530 will come with all Trailforks maps, but should be easier to use than the 3rd party purchase.
Can anyone from Garmin confirm if we can still purchase this as an add-on? This is literally the one thing I've always wanted from a Garmin unit, and I think it would be extremely unfair to have to 'Downgrade' my unit to get a new feature.
