Hi,
I've found an issue with my Polar H7 BLE strap since upgrading to firmware version 7.20. The problem has persisted in 7.30.
If the sensor moves out of range of the 1030, which almost always happens if I leave my bike outside a cafe and go inside, when I return to the bike the sensor will not reconnect, neither automatically, via the refresh button in the pull down sensor menu, nor via disable and re-enable of sensor in sensor management screens.
The only way I can get the sensor to pair again is to stop the activity, reboot the 1030 and then it will automatically pair afterwards.
I have attached a FIT file where this behaviour occurred. I walked away from the bike at the 57 minute mark. I came back to the bike at 1h27 min mark. It picked up the power meter once I started riding, but I needed to initiate the device restart, which commenced at 1h27m23s and it picked up the HRM once it had completed rebooting at 1h28m14s.
I have an RTL-500 paired to the head unit, as well as an ANT+ power meter.
Thanks,
James
