Strava live segments

recently got the 1030 having broke my 1000..... the live segments is working something like only once or twice for every 10 segments (so it does work sometimes). Any ideas?

also, I’ve got a white dot and how’s whether I’m ahead/behind but on the 1000 it would say by how many seconds. Frustrating not knowing if 10secs down or 1min down. Anyway to change this?

Same issue on my 1030. This is pathetic - only reason why I've upgraded from Edge 800 to 1030 were segments.

And nothing is working. Even funny - I can see these segments on the map but segment widget does not pop up when I'm approaching.

Maybe because you're using a built route from Basecamp? It does not trigger segments when not riding in "route free mode". Only option besides is using the route builder from Strava itself. It implements some tag into the GPX that is necessary for triggering live segments

Have you tried a factory reset? I have been using an Edege 1030 for a year now and had no trouble with the segments.

Are you using different activity profiles? Live segments have always worked (as advertised) in my 1030 with all software versions. Make sure you have activated live segments and the screen for live segments in the profile you are using. Also it doesn’t work when riding courses or routes.
