Firmware 7.20, external power disables touchscreen.

Not sure if anyone has had this problem but after updating to 7.20 the Edge disables the touch screen when plugged into USB external power. :mad:
Touchscreen works perfectly after unplugging but disables as soon as it's plugged in.Not using Garmin external battery.

This is major NO GO!!! for me. Downgrading to 7.00

angelica.wpr81 - Does your Edge show the normal ride screen or does the Edge show a screen that shows the Battery percentage and a computer icon?

I just tried connecting my 1030 (FW 7.20) to an external powerbank with an activity running, and I can still swipe between screens without any problem.

I tried a non Garmin powerbank with my 1030 and it worked fine. I used a Garmin cable. Perhaps the problem is when using a non Garmin cable.

The edge shows a normal ride screen.
I did confirm that this was in fact the issue. I tried rebooting the Garmin and it function fine until I connected the USB power cable and then the screen stopped working as soon as I unplugged it the screen started functioning again.

I can't see how the cable should make a difference but I am not using the Garmin cable.
The only thing that is different about my setup is that I'm powering the Garmin from a 12V to 5V USB adapter.
I'll have to try it on 7.3 when I get the time to mess around with it.
