Trouble connecting Giant Power Pro to Edhge 1030

Since a couple of days proud owner of a Giant Defy with Giant Power Pro meters. I also bought a new Garmin Edge 1030.
When connecting the powermeter to the Edge 1030 I have problems..

Connecting by ANT+ it sees only one powermeter and also the cadanse.

When connecting with bluetooth it finds 2 power sensors:
L_PowerPro_613
non-service614

But that's all it's doing. In menu with the ppowerinfo eall the field stay empty.

Anyone a suggestion , or do I have some sort of Death On Arrival in the bluetooth environment ?
This i'm also asking while i cannot make connection toot with my iPhone7....

  • Here is an update.
    I received a new crankset.
It's possible to connect to my Iphone to update firmware by bleutooth.

When connecting to Edge 1030 it sees one item on ANT+ and one item on Bluetooth.
Powermeters are now doing as it should do, with left and right powermeter.
On bluetooth it finds also item, but it keeps saying that it is connecting.
Must do some more testing/experimenting.But need first better and dry weather for that :)

One more question: There are a lot of fields to put on your screens, some of them are always 0 or --
Are these items that's not suppported by Giant Power Meter ?

  • The Giant power meter will not support any of the Cycling Dynamics data fields. It should most of the others.
