Link between EDGE Profiles and Connect equipment.

Hello.

I have two MTB. I created in my Edge 2 profiles. I did not find how to associate a mountain bike with a profile for Connect to make the link and add the Km to the right equipment. I am interested in any solution. Actually, I do the manipulation by hand in connect.

I don't believe there is any way to have Connect automatically assign equipment based on the activity profile. I'd love to be wrong and it would be a nice feature to have. But it would probably be a support nightmare as there would be lots of room for user error. It could get complicated quickly as well. You could base it on profile name, or certain Ant+ devices like a power meter or cadence sensor.

They used to have the concept on the bike computer itself where you created bike profiles instead of activity profiles, and you paired Ant+ devices to each bike. So on the Edge itself, you could see how many miles you did on that bike. That went away a few years ago.

Thank you for your answer. Actually on the 1030 I associate an activity (MTB, GRAVEL ...) to a profile but the information does not go up and connect just displays cycling. Too bad. I thought there might be a trick.

Now it is just a pool of sensors and, to be honest, I prefer it that way. I just name the sensors appropriately when I pair them and then just roll wit it
