Can’t send courses to 1030: not compatible?!?

Hi, suddenly I’ve got a problem sending courses to my 1030 (firmware 7.00) from Garmin Connect Mobile app for iOS.
As you can see from the screenshot the GCM app says that the 1030 is not compatible?!?
How is this possible? Do you have some solution to this?

If I connect the 1030 to a Computer is stilll possible to transfer courses, but it’s a pain to do like that... ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1451237.png
  • Finally it works with the latest update of GC (4.19.1.1). 

    But note that I had to uninstall/reinstall the app, reconfigure the whole things to get it working.

    I see these posts are 7-8 months old. It's now 6th Jan 2020 and I'm having the same problem with my 1030! I can do it to my 935 no problem but not to the 1030 with the latest updates applied across the board. What the hell is going on Garmin? It totally stuffed me up yesterday on a bike ride!

  • What I could see is that if the activity has already started, the GCM app will not send to the 1030.

    Hi George. My problem is the same as Frederico encountered at the beginning of this thread 11 months ago.Before starting the device in any way Load up a course on GCM, tap the three dots at the top right of the screen, tap ‘send to device’ and a page is launched that shows my Garmin 1030 sat in a list of devices that are not compatible, and you can’t progress from that screen at all.
