After upgrading to V. 7 LiveTrack stop working

After upgrading to last version 7.0 no one on my contacts can follow my LiveTrack. It always give a message "No signal. Trying to establish connection".
Works fine with version 6.30.

Anyone with the same issue?

Hello Matthew, Any development with the LiveTrack? Even when it sends the e-mail, when you check the link it says: "This session is not active or is finished..." but I could never use it again after installing…

Mine was the same yesterday on my club run, V7.0 has broken Live track.Yet another great function broken by a software release.

I had some issues (Edge 1030 7.0; Samsung S9+ V8.0); . Try using GCM (Garmin Connect Mobile) V4.8, that solved my problems ==> https://www.apkmirror.com/?post_type=app_release&searchtype=apk&s=garmin+connect . You have to prevent "Google Play" udating "Garmin Connect Mobile" App.
. In my opinion it's not a problem of Garmin Edge 1030 V7.0.
My last two rides had been without any problems. Live Track recording was complete, even during a stop being in a building.

Same here. My wife is complaining that Live Track for me is not working. She views that as an important safety feature.

Pedro_Quintas - This problem has been reported and we should have a fix for this Garmin Connect App problem in early February. I apologize to all in this thread for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I read on another forum that Livetrack is broken due to GPDR regulations. Somehome you need to approve Garmin Connect to access your contacts on your phone to make Livetrack working. As far as I understood, this is broken now. Livetrack works fine when starting it manually from your phone. This is how I make livetrack working for the last months. Now lets wait for Garmin to fix this once and for all.
