Garmin 1030

Stopped for coffee today & stop my Garmin when I restarted it the power & cadence were frozen on 0. this has happened if I didn't turn it off correctly after a ride then when using it the next day the power & Cadence was not working.
Also, at home when I have saved the ride often the Garmin1030 will restart while I am waiting for the session to download.

Anything connected via BLE is unreliable. Is this here the case? All my ant+ connected sensors work flawless, speed, cadence, two power meters, Di2. Which sensors do you use?

I thought I was having problems with my Stages power meter & Garmin HRM (both ANT+) but it appears as though that sometimes when pausing and/or turning off the 1030 during an activity and restarting it loses the connection to one or the other until it connects again the next time it's paused/turned off/on. I noticed this as I backtracked a period of no-data to specific instances of stopping and starting during breaks on rides. It's totally random and frustrating to say the least...

I have no idea why it's doing this, but the random issues keep cropping up (and adding up) with this device.

Are you running firmware v7?
I'm not using the 1030 much right now but every time I have to manually connect the cadence sensor, even if I spin the pedals & check system, sensors and its seen, as soon as I start this deeply irritating prob returns and in full finger gloves, well its not the best way to start a ride.
