I got my 1030 a few months ago to replace my broken Edge 1000. I've not been doing much cycling recently (since getting the 1030) but am starting up again now.
I've had a lot of connection/syncing issues with my Android phone/Garmin Connect Mobile so thought I'd check the firmware.
Unlike with my Edge 1000, I've not been offered any firmware updates through the device. However, I can see that I'm on v5.00.
Adding the device to Garmin Connect on my Mac, it also says that no updates are available for my device. It's only if I go to connect.garmin.com that it suggests that a software update is available (v7.00).
If I go into the device -> about -> software update and click refresh, it tells me that no updates are available, either when connected to Garmin Connect Mobile or directly to the internet over wifi.
Is there any way to get this device to recognise, download and install the latest firmware?
