Edge 1030 still stops during activity

Now it's every ride my counter stops. In fact, the speed is no longer displayed so it automatically pauses. As against the GPS works very well as shows my location on the map and continues to give me guidance. It's still outrageous, considering the price of this device, that Garmin does not make faster fixes (because I know I'm not the only one in this case).
Do you know how to recover old versions of sofware to downgrade my device (since it worked very well until the previous version of the app.
Regards
  • Are you using an external speed sensor? If so what type?

I just posted a topic regarding my Edge 25 dropping speed/cadence data during indoor trainer workouts with unit set to "indoor" and auto pause off. Heart rate does not lose any data. I believe I may have found the cause. When I moved my bike from the garage into the house and kept the sensors warm, no dropouts !! Check out my posts under "Edge 25" & "520". You would think the engineers at Garmin would have figured this out. I have been on the phone with them after each of my last six trainer workouts. Tried new batteries, a new speed sensor and nothing worked until I left the bike (and sensors) inside. The only thing I can't figure is why the sensors do not drop data when on an outside ride and unit set to "outdoors" ?
  • I have a garmin speed & cadence sensor but there is no magnet on my wheel.
I have it for almost a year and it's been 3 weeks that I have this problem. This happened to me after 25km (last week) and 54 km this WE.
If you have an idea ..
