Not recording Rides Speed, Distance, Location

My Edge 1030 is on 6.30 Firmware, as of yesterday
it has everything installed and updated
Seems to only happen with my road Rides
when you start a ride it doesnt confirm ride
doesn't show speed,time or Distance or location
But after i stopped for coffee today, it recorded my ride?
i use the Bluetooth for Notifications and Crash ID Callout to my Girlfriend
As i have epilepsy, as well as just the crash factor.
Is it because , maybe the GPS didn't confirm location before a ride?
only time i turn it on next to a building?

A Wee bit Grumpy this has Happened 3 times now.
twice where stoppages, then showed half my ride
and once where ride didn't record at all

It sounds like you may have started your ride before you had confirmation of satellite receiving. It sometimes takes 30 seconds or so before you get confirmation of position or it can be much more if your start position is a long way from where your last ride finished, or if there isn't clear sight of the sky.

If this happens again try saving a screenshot. (You need to enable this via one of the menus- sorry I can't be more specific as I don't have my 1030 in front of me)
Can I also suggest that you test your crash notification somewhere safe to make sure you girlfriend gets the notification. There are many people who have bluetooth problems but your situation may be a bit more complicated than most.

Yeah, probably me being impatient , i don't have the best fun on the road bike
All Good, i normally just cancel it , if alert goes off... Epilepsy is just a side note,
its awesome having a crash detection system, after upgrading from the 705

Bluetooth and iphones may be an isue/ mines an iphone 7
