Starva Live Segment doesnt work while on navegation mode

Starva Live Segment doesnt work while on navegation mode following a saved route.
Data screen or map screen, Starva Live Segment screen doesn't pop up.
It does pop up while on an activity without navigation

I am new to this device on V6 so I dont know if it used to work before.

That's been my experience on previous versions of firmware too. If you're navigating, it won't popup a Strava live segment. I assume it can't do more than one type of navigation at the same time, so this is a limitation of the device (or software).

Segments will only work when following a course if they are embedded in the course. Currently the only app that does this is the "Strava Route" Connect IQ app for courses built in Strava.

And how would one embed segments in a course?

Are you asking how you could do it manually or how the app does it? The course file produced by the app creates a FIT file that has the start and end points for the segments in it, along with the UUID of the segments. You also need those segments loaded on your Edge.

The app looks for your segments that the course runs over and adds those to the course file.
