Garmin Edge map and round trip routing

Hi there
may I have some help please?
I have recently bought an Edge 1030.
I have 2 problems.
First problem:
When I go for a ride there is very little detail on the map on the Edge just a blue line showing where I’ve been.
Second problem:
when I try round trip routing I get the following message:
”No route found adjust the routing parameters and try again.”
Ny help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
you won't believe it... It was my PC (actually my little Windows-Pad) not having enough space left on its hard drive... After having cleaned up somewhat the update was succesful and I now have both halves of the maps available. The funny thing is, that they both fit on the 1030s main memory. Nothing has been saved on the SD-Card I had specifically bought... Oh well...

MANY THANKS for pointing me in the right direction. One would have though that the message from Express would have been more specific though... And by the way, the folder you named where the temporary files were expected to show up stayed emtpy during the whole update...

Anyways, again: MANY THANKS! You saved my vacation in Italy!
