experience with Fw v6.00

I' m happy to report 0 issues on fw6.00 on a 1 hour indoor ride this morning.

EXPECT from the usual BT BS. Edge remote worked the first 30 min. Then not more. Turned off BT on phone (S8) and no issue from here. It's CHOKING this is still an issue...!!&%¤"!%&!

Mine has just updated at the end of a ride, so I haven't used it in anger. However, the update was quick (and ota) and doesn't appear to have altered/ reset my data screens. So far so good then.

First ride with 6.0 and almost everything was perfect, only issue was that after my cafe stop the Edge1030 wouldn't/couldn't see my speed sensor.....

Had to stop the ride, shut down the device and try and reconnect, still no show for the speed sensor so I had to remove and re-add the speed sensor.

French language has disappeared

Hi,I installed it yesterday and went for a ride first thing this morning and everything is fine,no problems after a 1.5hr ride

i wouldn't bother after the update to 6.0 my 1030 would no longer connect to my phone EDIT after an hour of messing all is now working again, removed all pairing, uninstalled GMC, rebooted phone, then went through the set up again, call, text, hangouts and fb messenger notifications still all working

7.5 hour ride without any issues Live Track worked for the entire ride as well :)

Done a few longish rides ,3,4 & 5 hours, and I am impressed with the edge 1030 & v6 firmware.

Using IPhone 8, Vector 2 pedals, Garmin Varia 510, Garmin HRM Tri.

The Good
- Touch screen is very responsive and not affected by showers like my edge 820
- battery life amazing compared to edge 820
- livetrack was perfect on all rides
- group track worked well
- power meter all good
-RTL510 vehicle radar detection is very good
- trueup workimg well with FR935xt


Issues
- incident detection activated coming to quick stop on a bumpy road - false alarm. I could not cancel it by holding finger onscreen??? Emergency messages were sent.
- RTL510 sometimes picks up cyclists in group behind (reported elsewhere). There is a software update v3.3 for RTL510 which fails to update (also reported elsewhere)

Interesting. I had a similar issue yesterday after a cafe stop. The 1030 stayed in "paused mode" because it thought that I was not moving. It eventually seemed to sort itself out but only after a good half mile of cycling.
