I just bought an Edge 1030 (I have an Edge 1000).
I tried to enable Wi-Fi, under menu in Connectivity -> Wi-Fi, the Edge say to use Garmin Connect Mobile to enable it, when I click "V" the Edge return on Connectivity menu, where I can select Wi-Fi another time . On the App, there is no reference to Wi-fi connection. I tried on PC with Garmin Express. I connect it with USB cable, and in Garmin Expressunder Wi-Fi Networks I can only insert in manual mode thenetwork seed and the correct password (the option search network not work), when I disconnect the Edge from PC and power on, I do not see any Wi-Fi acticity (the Wi- Fi Icon or other). If I connect another time to PC I don't see the network that I just configured.
In my Edge 1000 under Wi-Fi, you can search Wi-Fi network click on my Network and insert the password.
Is it possible that my Edge has the Wi-Fi-module KO? Have I wrong anything?
PS. My Edge have the firmware v 5.0.
