Garmin 1030 unresponsive

Please help....
I was updating my Garmin 1030 through Garmin Express.
I believe it was loading new maps.
At 19 minutes to completion I needed to move my computer and the 1030 got disconnected from the computer.
Since then I can not turn the unit on...it does show the Garmin verbiage but then it goes blank.
I also can not connect it to my Mac.
What do I do?

Try
Force to Mass Storage -
Turn unit off. Hold the lap/reset button while plugging the unit into the USB. Continue holding the lap/reset for 30 seconds and the unit should go to mass storage.

tried...no change...still cant turn unit on and its not being recognized by my Mac....

OK....issue solved
I called garmin support line.
What solved it was the pressing of lap and start buttons plus the on/off button all at the same time for 30 sec....
Its back to being alive now!
