No timeframe on it from Garmin. I find it ironic that the 1030 - a dedicated GPS device - can only see GPS and GLONASS satellites, whereas my phone, which just has GPS capability as an extra, can see GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU, QZSS, and GALILEO satellites. The phone is also much less prone to losing GPS signal when indoors, under bridges, short tunnels, etc.
