Next firmware after v5.00...?

I was wondering... It's been over a month now since 5.00 was released. And although it works quite well for me, it still has it's hickups (live-track, di2 connection, Edge remote to mention a few)

I can confirm both of this too, "Di2 mode 1" or "Di2 Schaltmodus S1" in german ... I also had the Di2 battery loaded to 100% and edge 1030 showed "battery low". I charged the battery right after my ride just to find out it was still full.

I get that its weird when some are having the problem whilst others are not, I would guess the EW-WU101 (as I have on my setup) is the common factor?

Actually, I have the EW-WU111 with Ant+ and Bluetooth Support (for the Shimano Smartphone App)

I have the EW-WU101 as well - but never had an issue with my old Edge 1000.

Regarding firmware for Pro's - I'd guess they're running different firmware than we are. This exactly to avoid any errors. Imagine a pro losing data? In addition, they are also riding work this data-logger, so in case, they can get data elsewhere.

So back to our firmware edition? Yes please update us Shawn-Garmin

There is also an issue when using the Edge 1030 and adding the Varia RTL 500. It cause the 1030 to going into an ongoing loop of Forming the Light Network. This causes the Varia

HL 500 and the 2 Varia TL 300, to cycle on and off sporadically. It does not stop till you remove the Varia RTL 500 from the light sensors.

And what we can expect?
Probably:
- fixed connection to Edge remote,
- Galileo support,
- current location sharing with emergency contacts via power button,
- ...
