A friend emailed my a link to her Map My Ride route that we are going to do Wednesday. There is a button to download TCX file. I did that and imported into my Garmin by copying it to the New File Folder on the Garmin. After restarting the Garmin - it does not show up in the Courses. Any idea?
Is the file still in the NewFiles folder. Sometimes a web browser can download it with the wrong file extension.
The other thing to check is the course name. The Edge uses the course name inside the tcx file and not the file name. It could be that that the name in the file is different to what you are looking for so you are not seeing it in the list of courses where you expect it.
