This just showed up in the Fenix 5 series forum looking forward to this one :)

It needs to be enable on the phone under the device settings in GCM.

The installation notes say you can also do this on Garmin Connect (i.e. the web interface) under Device Settings, but I'm not seeing any option there and I don't have my 1030 linked to GCM on my phone. Any ideas?

I don't see anything in GCM either.

It didn't show up right away for me, I had to power cycle everything and when I re-launched GCM the option was there.

works great for me using the FR645 and Edge 1030- activities are synced across both devices and individual training load is updated accordingly.
