Garmin has a MTB mount, that can see following the link. You can install it on the left or the right of the stem, and its angle is adjustable, so you can really locate the edge where you want - in front…
I love it!
Standard mount facing backwards , my 1000 and now 1030 has survived some major stacks.
Garmin has a MTB mount, that can see following the link. You can install it on the left or the right of the stem, and its angle is adjustable, so you can really locate the edge where you want - in front somewhat or just above the stem. When you put it backward the Edge is really well protected and above the stem. It works very well. And keeps the Edge from rubbing on the stem. See buy.garmin.com/.../010-12563-02
Yeah on my Stumpy ( blue bike ) it could do with a bit more angle adjustment to make it perfectly angled but it’s so close I just stuck with the original style mount as no one had stock of the mtb mount when I got the new bike.
Thank you symo007! Didn't even contemplate taking my Garmin out front, and making it an out back. LoL. So simple/elegant. Seriously solved a major problem with my MTB buildup and no extra expense..
Yeah when I first got it and looked at the ‘recommended’ out front position it was ‘ yeah no’.
