Just bought CN NT Europe map online at garmin.->in Garmin Express no map to download.

Hello to all,
I just bought the CN Europe NT map. I already got the instruction mail from Garmin -> how to download it with GE

I am just disappointed because No CIty Navigator NT map is shown to download in Garmin Express. I have tried logging out my account and logging in in GE. A reinstall of Garmin Express -> just nothing shown in Garmin Express no cloud symbol to download the map. Yes the 1030 is connected fine via USB.
Can anybody help?

Are you sure you bought the map and not a map update? It's a common error. Either way call Garmin product support for help.

Then call Garmin so they can sort it out for you.

The City Navigator Europe map is not compatible with the Edge 1030, at least it is not listed as a compatible device here: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/6299#devices. This is probably why it won't show up in Garmin Express.

Is the CN NT Europe map Unicode? Garmin screwed up their anti-piracy routines in 2016, and Unicode maps now can't be used on newer devices.

They show no sign of wanting to fix the problem they created.

No, he says it's the NT version, the Unicode one is NTU.

I already have contacted the Garmin support (email).
When I open GE Vers. 6.2.0.0 -> the Edge 1030 is already connected (USB) I can go to extras and content
-> Bought -> There my user is already logged in -> Then "No content for this device" is shown.
There is no option for downloading the CN map -> no cloud nothing....

On the intern memory 8 Gb free; SD card 30 GB free

As MikeTord stated: CN maps seem not to be compatible with Edge devices.
You should have bought a Topo-map.

Hello to all,
I just have my old Edge 810 running with the CN Europe Map (DVD-version) with CN lifetime Update no problems getting the newest updates by GE and using the newest CN map on the 810.

Yes the Edge 810 is not in the device list of the CN map too but it works since 2013.
So why shouln't this map work with the 1030 too
