disabling sharp curve / turn alert

So the 1030 has this new alert that points out sharp curves ahead and stays on the bottom of the screen until you clear the curve or press the alert to make it go away. I HATE this alert - I have searched the app, the web and the manual to see if it can be disabled. As far as I can tell it can't. So reaching out here to see if it is possible or not. I don't need my Garmin to save me from myself.

In your activity profile, look under Navigation. There should be a screen with Map, Navigation prompts and Sharp Bend Warnings. Touch the latter to change the setting.

I have that setting disabled but I still randomly get sharp bend warnings

It took a while but I found where this setting is. I was looking at the map under navigation but there was nothing there. Start at the top level "---" menu. Then:

Activity Profiles > ROAD (or whatever) > Navigation > Sharp Bend Warnings

This is on Edge 1030 software version 6.30

Thanks for the explanation I have been trying to find the way to delete sharp bend warning for a while once you know it’s so easy, why do Garmin make things so difficult to find ?

It doesn't matter. Disable it and you'll still get the warning. Typical Garmin.
