Battery Save Mode and screen going blank - stops working after 2 hours

This is relating to the 'screen going blank' with the battery save mode enabled. I've used the Battery Saver mode with turn by turn navigation on 2 rides in the last week since I've had the 1030. On both times it works as expected for 2 hours after which the 'screen going blank' feature stops working and the screen remains on permanently.

I've tried turning the 'battery save mode' from enabled to disabled and then enabled again but this doesn't coerce the screen saver to work again.

Is anyone else seeing a similar issue ?

I have been experiencing the same issue!! I have the screen blank (on battery save mode) for a while then it stays on, and there’s no way of making it get back to sleep! Did the same enabling and disabling the bat save mode but never worked!
