Auto start

Hi,
I've just switched from 1000 to 1030 and so far I really like this device. Quite honestly the best thing to me at the moment is the superior screen...
Anyway - on my 1000 there was an option to get a message when movement was detected. In the 1030 there are two auto options - auto prompt and auto start. The problem I have is that in both options the minimal speed is 10 Km/h. I can understand that one may not wish to have an auto-start the timer when you actually did not start to ride. However, I have several trails which starts at quite a steep climb in which I do not go faster than 10 Km/h... and I wish there was an option for the auto-prompt not have a speed limit but just a movement detection... Is there any way around it? at the moment I need to manually start the ride which is (for me) one step backwards from the 1000...

Absolutely. You can change the minimum riding speed. Go to Settings, then Profiles. Select the profile you want to use, then select Auto Pause. Set Auto Pause Speed to whatever you like - I use 2.0 km/h. Do the same for your other profiles, if you use more than one. I do have Auto Start set to Manual....

Colin - thanks for the repky. I am aware for this option however on my device I cannot input a value below 10 kmh... Very strange...

Auto-Start and Auto-Stop are different things!
For Auto-Start in fact it is not possible to set a speed under 10 km/h (what is possible for Auto-Pause).

I did not notice that he meant auto-pause... thanks for the heads up. At least I know that this is the case...

I still can't understand the logic behind this limit... oh well...

I get into an infinite auto-start loop after every ride - turned it off. What seems to happen is I stop my activity then go inside, the unit starts to lose satellites and the position starts to drift (it'll start to report "moving East on xyz street" and it's moving fast). I have to stop the activity and decline to upload at which point it then immediately starts a new one :)

I honestly have no idea why to change something that worked so well in the 1000... The movement detection worked perfectly...
